He says that about himself. That's why I like him.

He's so incredibly smug it's actually painful but self deprecation is at least admirable. Like Cruz joking about being the zodiac killer when some interviewer razzed him about it.

The difference being one is a comedian the other is a United States Senator. I hold the people in power to a higher standard than I hold comedians.

A higher standard of comedy? I was only using Cruz as an example of someone being self deprecating about a cruel shot.

I don't consider elected officials "Entertainment". I hold them to a higher standard means not comparing himself to a serial killer. If you're going to be a politician you need to know when to keep your mouth shut and how to rise above comedians and media attacks.

What? Instead of freaking out and getting angry, he went with the joke with good humor and some dems gave him credit for being a good sport. It actually might have been on twitter. Someone mocked him for being a killer and he tweeted the zodiac killers writing script as a joke.

I didn't see it and I don't live in Texas on purpose. I'm not on Twitter or Facebook or insta-tiktok or any other hangouts for teens and tweens.

Like I've said, I expect more from my elected officials. I don't expect much from any media. He went with a joke comparing himself to someone that shot and stabbed innocent people, stands by a man that called his wife names and he decided to hit the Cancun Ritz during a pandemic while the people that elected him are in dire situations.

Seems to me he may not be any good under pressure.
