Well seeings how they ignored her literal dieing request to not have her position filled until after the election and instead rammed someone into the position who stood against everything she ever stood for, I'd say they basically did.
Oh and don't forget these were the same people who four years earlier refused to vote on a Judge that had bipartisan support because it was "too close to the election" and that if they tryed to rush as much or less time four years from then they should be called out for it.

Apparently, you haven't heard the conservative argument against that, because if you had you probably wouldn't be saying what you are. In 2020 Republicans's had the white house and the senate which means that they can push through a new judge. Four years before that, Democrats didn't have the senate and so it would have been pointless to try and put a new judge through.

It's a simple as that. A president is elected for FOUR years, not three, and if he has the senate, he can put a new judge through. That is the constitutional process regardless of RBG's SUPPOSED dying wish.

and you're right the president IS elected for FOUR years not three which means at least one supreme court should have been put into place during Obama's time expecally since the one he picked had support bipartisan support, which is why McConnell refused to even bring it to the floor, and literally hundreds of lower court positions that all opened up durning those same four years which MoCconnell also refused to even bring up should have also been filled in those four years.

Their argument in 2016 was that nine months before an election was too close to an election to even consider looking at a new candidate and that if they were in the same situation four years later they would make the same call and should be called out for hypocrisy if they didn't. In 2020 those same exact people claimed it was their "duty" to review and rush a new candidate into office less than two months before an election because they feared/knew they were going to lose.
Personally I prefer arguments based in fact and reality not conservatism

I know, a lot of the republicans, especially Linsey Graham were extremely hypocritical and I condemn them for it. I don't know about bipartisan support though. Maybe he had support from fake conservatives, like the Lincoln Project.

Your argument, on the other hand, was that they shouldn't have put a new supreme court justice through because a dying lady supposedly said asked them not to. Such a position is entirely insupportable under the constitution and that is a fact.

The only fake republicans are the one's that still support Trump after his all his lies about the election caused that insurrection.

But then that's always been the problem of the GOP they say the other side can't do something, then when it benefits them they do that exact same thing themselves and when called out on it they just shrug and say "oh well, it's already done, move on." That's all they ever do and the only reason a party that represents only 29% of the population still somehow manages to have over 50% of the countries elected officials.

The argument btw is that they did treat RGB the same as Rush because after she DID and is CONFIRMED as saying she wanted them to wait, they elected someone who stands against everything she fought for her entire time on the bench. The hypocrisy of rushing her in is just the extra loogy on her corpse they spat out before her body could even grow cold.

Confirmed? Oh really? That's too bad. I thought more of her than to make a ridiculous, partisan political ploy like that. It really doesn't shine well on her character. That's why I don't think she said it. I think she had just a little bit more integrity than you give her credit for.

And no, they didn't treat RBG the same as Rush. Denying a ridiculous and hyper-partisan deathbed request is entirely different from mocking and insulting someone in such a copious and denigrating way.

Welp, just took a look at your memes and it's pretty clear you're too deep in the koolaid to bother arguing logic with. So tell you what, one day when you decide join the rest of us back here in reality we can have a discussion then. Until then, just leave politics to us grown ups.

Apparently, you only like to talk with people you agree with. The sign of a true leftist.

And with regard to your comment about the GOP being in the minority: as Mark Twain says, "if you're on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect."

Name one prominent conservative figure who mocked or insulted RBG after her death. I'm waiting....

Oh, I have to name one *prominent* conservative figure. The game hasn't even started and you're already trying to move the goalpost. Typical.

Of course. I'm not gonna let you get away with naming some random basketcase tweeting on lunch break; no matter what it is, you'll always be able to find SOMEBODY will say anything. May I remind you that there are people who honestly believe the earth is flat?
