Your "no u"-caliber reply is worth a simple tl;dr, but since I am a Star Trek fan and capable of reading and complex analysis, I will do so and show you how it's done
Points in favor of Star Wars:
--The soundtrack. Gotta hand it to John Williams. Iconic and everyone knows it.
--The aliens are cool and well-designed, not gonna lie.
--The Mandalorian (recent installment) is a solid show.
--Star Trek's treatment of the Ferengi (pretty obvious stand-in for Jewish stereotypes) is cringe-worthy.
Points in favor of Star Trek:
--First major Sci-Fi TV series and still one of the best. A pioneer in so many respects, including for Star Wars.
--Diversity in Star Trek's casting has existed from the outset, and fans have long celebrated it rather than throw a reeing fit the way Star Wars fans did when that they started finally casting some women and POC in key roles.
--The Star Trek technology is better-reasoned and integrated, and sticks within its assigned limits. Technology in Star Wars up to and including "The Force" itself is way too hand-wavy.
--Too many Star Wars movies have simply sucked ass, as even Star Wars fans will admit. Star Trek is p consistent.
--Star Wars inhabits a simplistic "good vs. evil" universe. Villains' motives are more complex in Star Trek. So are the motives of the heroes, which aren't always pure. Star Wars has belatedly been introducing more hero/villain complexity, but the original 3 movies which are supposedly the best aren't so big on that front.
--On that note: the economy, social issues, philosophy -- real-world allegories in Star Trek are plentiful and well-designed, and keep you thinking long after the show is over. The overarching philosophy of Star Wars is simply smash the baddies.
--Star Wars is pretty reliant on effects and cheap gags to hold audience attention. The effects of the original 3 movies were groundbreaking for their time, but the reliance on them has grown more evident in time.
Overall assessment: Star Trek is an epic complex TV series for adults. Star Wars at its core is a movie series for kids, reliant on the Joseph Campbell hero's journey archetype, with frequent missteps along the way and always the next installment away from disaster and fan disappointment.
