This reminds me of a story:
A guy sees a news broadcast about a flood but says, “God will save me.” Then the waters rise and a raft appears and the rescue worker tells him to get on. He says, “God will save me.” Then the waters rose for and a helicopter appears and its pilot tells him to get on but he says, “God will save me.” Then the waters rise and he drowns. In the afterlife he asks God why he didn’t save him. God says, “I gave you a news broadcast, a raft and a helicopter. What else could I give you?”
