According to a YouGov Survey published in the 1-19-21 issue of the Economist, the vast majority of Democrats have heard of QAnon and understand what it is. About half of Republicans have the same degree of awareness of it. The numbers of people who oppose it are almost exactly the same as those who have knowledge of it. It appears to me, based on logic, that the more people know about the crazy ideas coming from the extreme White-Wing of the Republican Party, the more they oppose them. This also correlates with the shrinking of the number of registered Republicans. This reminds me of 1960 when the Republicans thought they had a lock on the Presidency. After they lost, a battle for the soul of the party was waged by the forces of Barry Goldwater (QAnon-lite) and Nelson Rockefeller was waged. Goldwater won the party and the Democrats won the 1964 election by a landslide.
