What do you do with a crime that victims often are too traumatized to report for weeks, months, or even years? How much evidence is there?
You start with the presumption that the person reporting it must have a really good reason (ie, probably be telling the truth) because they have just reactivated the original trauma and torched their public life by coming forward. It would take a rare and special troll to do that, so by logic, most of those are real.
The larger point, that I want to reemphasize, is: If "Social Justice" starts to sound bad to you, you are drifting in the direction of Social INjustice. I think perhaps what's triggering for some people is that white men, especially white middle-class men, don't need to have their rights defended as much, so the social justice movement tends to focus on the needs of the less-privileged: people of color, women, LGBTQ+, immigrants. If you don't belong to any of these groups, it might feel like nobody is advocating for YOU. But we all benefit from having a just society for everybody.
