And before you say it, no, it doesn't matter which word you use in this case. The verse you're referring to, Exodus 21:22-25 says “If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."
So if the baby dies, then the man who caused the death receives the same punishment as for murder, death.
Meaning that according to the Bible, murdering a baby (abortion) is just as bad as killing a live human.

Seems the passage you brought up lays it out clear enough. Killing the unborn baby is just the same as killing a full-grown human.

It does talk about Molech (Moloch), the god that the Canaanites would offer their children to by burning them in the hands of the idol. It explicitly says not to do that.

Maybe you ought to read the whole passage. Like I said, it doesn't really matter if it translates to "premature birth" or "miscarriage", because if you read through with the whole punishment, if it results in the death of the unborn baby or mother, the punishment is death.

Not sure what translation you went to to fit your narrative, but the Bible I have (NIV) says premature birth, not miscarriage
