The filibuster isn't in the Constitution. It's a Senate tradition that has been increasingly abused over the past 10 years especially as hyperpartisanship has grown.
As my meme references, McConnell already nuked the filibuster tradition regarding Trump's nominees.
There is no good reason why legislation that commands a majority shouldn't be passed. That's how it's always worked in the House, and it's how it should work going forward in the Senate.
Not to mention every piece of legislation that does get passed will face the stacked 6-3 conservative SCOTUS, also engineered by McConnellist dirty tricks and double-backing.
Republicans want a government that doesn't govern. The American people voted to get the country moving again.
