AntiF(irst)A(mendment) klowns also dress a bit like Nazis. At least the SA thugs that Hitler employed to beat down (literally) anyone who disagreed with him.

Apparently the left didn't catch on that it was a bad idea. They aren't burning books, yet but were are almost there. The right is almost being censored out of existence in the media and on social media.

Actually they are removing digital books from the internet and peoples devices after they purchase them.

Amazon is doing that. Google and Apple removed the Parler app from their app stores before Amazon kicked them off their servers. Conservative speech is being hit real hard on all the big tech sites. I finally just got tired of what FB was doing to me and dumped them and went to MeWe.

The way things are going I would not be surprised if the government pulled the plug on conservative talk radio and eventually just outlawed it altogether. Especially now that Biden is president.

Some states are fighting back with per user fines per day for violations.

Some churches are still burning books. Man, it's like we're regressing. The number one law should be, no burning books. No matter how useless the book may seem, we've achieved all that we have from those books, both the good and the bad. And knowledge is just that...knowledge

I haven't heard of any churches burning books but I am not doubting it either. After all there are some people who think playing with rattlesnakes give them some kind of religious experience. However, it if is a church that burning books it probably books that are owned by the members of that church and it is probably done voluntarily. If that is the case then that is their business.

When it becomes evil is what we are moving towards now, where the government and their business allies silence speech. FB and Twitter censoring conservative speech is just the start. From there they start banning and then burning books that would educate people to know that Socialism is corrupt and religious books that teach their is a higher power than the government.

happened earlier last year. They were burning a whole lots of books, including philosophy books and harry potter books. Even if it was done voluntary, the fact that the church came up with the idea, claiming that it is the "devil's" work...tells a lot

Books shouldn't be banned or burned, period. There are buts about it. Doing so amounts to robbing future generations, same with censorship. It also allows anger to fester among the silenced and is a recipe for disaster.

Well it goes back to a private property issue. If you are burning books that you bought then that is your business. Just like burning a flag that you bought. Or burning anything that belongs to you. That is your right. The only concern is if you live in a desert then there my be fire safety laws you need to obey.

I don't care if member of a church burn their own book. It is their property and they can do with it as the please. I don't see this as any different than having a worn out old book with pages missing and coffee stains on other pages being thrown in the trash. People do that all the time.

You may not like it but they have a right to dispose of any kind of private property for any reason.

The only time it is evil is when people are burning other people's property and especially when it is mandated by a government. What is evil about is is not so much about the books as it is about thought control. Books can be replaced but the message contain cannot always be replaced.

You mean like OANN and Newsmax which the left is trying to have shut down. Fox News stopped being conservative years ago, just no one realized it until this last election when they called Arizona for Biden after 1 or 2 ballots were counted.

Fox is 100% left 80% of the time and 100% right 20% of the time. Just depends on who you want and when.

Antifa is Communist. There is just not enough difference between Communism and Fascism to worry about distinctions. They are both authoritarian big massive controlling government systems where all property is owned by the collective and not any individual. The state decides what people's needs are and not the individual. The individual is expendable and if the individual is considered no value to the state they are executed.

Fascism, Communism and Nazism are all minor variations of Socialism and all are influenced (and in the case of Communism, created by) by Karl Marx.

Antifa calls themselves Communists. So what. They want the same things that Fascists want. They are essentially Fascists fighting against themselves only they are too stupid to know it.
