Is the NFL scripted?

I can see that point, especially with the shady PI call mentioned elsewhere here.

However, the Packers did themselves no favors by kicking the field goal in the fourth quarter when a touchdown & 2 point conversion would have tied it.

Buffalo did the same thing, kicking too many field goals. You can't win against teams that are scoring machines by not scoring yourself.

They wouldn't have needed to do that if they made the call

Not scripted, but that last PI penalty in the Tampa @ Greenbay was awful & continues to cement Tommies legacy as a QB so good be needs bailed out by his refs it win...

The refs ignored infractions the whole game. Billy Turner, Packers left tackle, should have been called for false start half a dozen times, and there was holding all over the field on both sides the entire game. And remember, this isn't the first time that the refs helped Tuck Rule Tommy won a conference championship. Maybe the conspiracy theory bit is going too far, but it is hard not to get the sense that he is protected when things like this happen. The refs have been not calling things throughout the playoffs, but vs. Washington and NO, things were at least approximately equal.

Yep the refs handed him that game so we could get a news media friendly superbowl for people who don't watch football. "Tommy at the first ever home superbowl!" Sounds good to non- football fans that might watch the superbowl.
I was just saying that a full on 'all football is fake' conspiracy is hard to believe.
