Like, human rights are going in the right direction. There's an actual articulated plan to deal with the pandemic, get people vaccinated, AND businesses back open.
It's like, holy crap, I forgot what competence looked and felt like.
It’s only been a few days, but the executive orders reversed a bunch of Trump garbage. The XL pipeline (from a union and jobs perspective) stings but I get the environmental impact outweighs the jobs.
It feels like a different political climate now. GOPers who previously screamed from bully pulpits are now (more or less) silenced.
XL is a short-term sting. At the January meeting, we were told that third on the priority list was a national jobs program and get the country back to work (after a second real stimulus and vaccine rollout).
