hmm one can learn a lot from fiction such as sir Thomas moor's "utopia" and Orwell's "animal farm" and "1984" to name a few. But yes I agree to an extent; biographies are great, but you have to take into mind the possible view points and personal opinions of the author, whereas in fiction, the authors views are often very plain. In short, every author picks and choses what he will include in the book, and how he will portray the person in question (I can geek out on this, bear with me). Do you like to read historical documents as well? I find the two go together quite like a burger and fries (thats what I had for lunch today 🤣).
