Farewell My Compatriots.

In fact, we’re very close to a vaccine.” February 26: “The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.” February 26: “We're going very substantially down, not up.” February 27: “One day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”

I appreciate and share the disappointment, shock, and anger about the failure of the last president to live up to his oath to protect us. But, as I am writing this Vice President Kamala Harris has been sworn into office. In a few minutes, Joe Biden will be officially President of the United States. It is time to put the past presidency into its place, history. We cannot move forward with someone else's failures as anchors around our feet. I can't think of anyone important to me, including you, who is not aware of all that has happened over the past four years. But, Chief Justice Roberts has just sworn in our new president. Let's let President Joseph R. Biden succeed or not on his own merit.

AGREED. i do look forward to his pending lawsuits though as a civilian. people have to be held accountable no matter what office they hold and how much money they claim to have.

I think his life is going to spiral downhill. He is going to have to answer to the impeachment trial and a large number of state proceedings. He will take the position that he cannot receive a fair trial because almost everyone has an opinion of him and half of us have an unfavorable one. I think state judges will not give him a pass. But, only the impeachment has anything to do with the presidency, and he is not currently president. I have little interest in his actions. President Biden has so much on his plate, at this time. I will focus my attention on how he does his job.
