What happens to your body when you time travel? If there are infinite universes, then you'd keep on existing as usual. 

That idea would be fun if TIME itself went BACKWARDS without reversing our memory. 



Now, if TIME goes back and we live in the same usual universe: 

If you do anything to prevent your own birth... you'd disappear that instant because you'll change the future that allowed you to time travel. 

We could say, in this case, that the past and the future exist simultaneously and you can't fool one and not let the other one know about it.

but a universe isnt a thing, its something that contains all the things-

there are multiple of them, just different ones at different times, but its the same universe.

and hm...

where would you go? Wouldnt you be trapped in time? And it would alter le course of life...

If the universe is infinite, then absolutely anything can happen. That's why we think there are worlds that are exactly the same as ours far away in this universe or multiverse.



If you dew that, your future would be your past. If it changes to you-weren't-born, then how do you exist? That's why you 'disappear', I don't know what'll happen. 

The universe might as well break down, because there exists something that was never made. It's a paradox.

lets say that you time travel back to age 3 at age 10

you would be 7 years ahead, so every time you completed a loop and got back to the time that you traveled at, you would travel again, but would you be 17 or still 10 at the age of 3

That assumes a couple things:

That you revert to the state you were in at the time that you returned to

That you don't become a distinct person from your younger self when you time travel

That time loops are a thing



If these aren't factors (which the first two can be fairly easily deduced as not being such), then the question is irrelevant.

but you wouldnt be able to become a different person because your actions would be the same, and so would your memories, which impact your actions, so-

If I were to travel back to when I was in second grade, I would be moving, thinking, and speaking in a different body from, and independent of, my second grade self. I could, in fact, engage my younger self in conversation as if he was another human being, and if I didn't tell him I was his older self, he would have no clue that I wasn't just another ordinary human being.

but that wouldnt work because since he is past you, the memories that you would be creating for him by talking to him would then come up in YOUR mind, which would eventually drive you crazy because your brain isnt developed enough to handle so much information and feelings at the same time

It's simple: multiverse theory. The you you're talking to isn't past you. At one point, they were, but as soon as you stepped into their timeline it split off into another timeline distinct from the one you grew up in.
