The only thing Graham's ever said that I can actually agree with is 'there should be no pardons for the Capitol rioters'. The reasons for such, however, are diametrically opposed. While he seeks to preserve and protect his own social, economic and political self interests by defending Trump, I'm more interested in seeing justice being served against every individual that bought into and supported Trump's lies.

So instead of seeing justice served and order retained you just want to see some Trumper heads on pikes. You are definitely the good guys.

Context is everything. I was specifically commenting on and referencing the Capitol rioting and those that fueled the fire leading up to it - GOP Senators, House Reps, media personalities - and the rioters themselves that stormed the Capitol, not those that merely voted for the man and believed his lies.

It's not a strawman it is literally derived from the persons words and I used the word you. Not only is your stupid logical fallacy liberal label playbook rotting your brain you can't even use it properly.

So he says he agrees with Lindsey Graham that Trump shouldn't give pardons to Capitol rioters, and that somehow means he believes that all of the Capitol rioters need to be executed?????

Smooth brain strawman moment

Justice being served ≠ calling for capital punishment

If I said line up against the wall you might have a point but I said you want to see head on pikes. I'm sorry if you don't get the metaphor. Maybe Google can help.

"Placing a severed head on a spike (or pike or pole) is a custom used sometimes in human history and in culture. The symbolic value may change over time. It may give a warning to spectators. The head may be a human head or an animal head."

The point is the person wants to send a warning to anyone that would dare believe in something they don't like instead of justice for justice sake. It's clear as day. Maybe do some more reading and thinking before calling others smooth brain.

And is arresting and convicting people who stormed the Capitol ground a BAD thing? Law and order for BLM but not for Capitol insurrectionists? Talk about a double standard.

No it is good. They should be arrested and charged with the crimes they committed. And to dissuade further incidents they should get the harshest sentence.

The OP was more interested with Trump supporters being served for being Trump supporters than for being criminals. That was my issue. If they would have merely said these individuals instead of every individual the context would have been more acceptable.

Fair, though the harshness of the sentence has to fit the crime.
