Why is it that citizens in every 'western' allied nation knows more about the US, its history, political structure, and the repercussions of trying to overthrow a duly elected government than most of the latter's own citizens?
I think it has more to do with other nations recognizing that while they couldn't counteract the US's dominate influence upon their own countries, they sure as hell could educate their own citizens to be able to differentiate fact from fiction.
