Hopefully we can agree that it's a good thing that our brothers and sisters have been withdrawn from Iraq & Afghanistan. We've lost too much blood & treasure in those shithole countries.
Regarding the troops in DC, however, whoever thought that this is a good idea probably thought that it was a good idea to send the Guard into Kent State with live ammo as well. I hope to hell that I'm wrong, but I think next week will be a bloodbath.
Furthermore, there's a thing called the Posse Comitatus Act. Although it doesn't explicitly apply to the National Guard, the use of the Guard is walking a fine line to skirt this act. Anyone practicing critical thinking will see that we're just one c**t hair away from an occupying force. You've had more rights stripped away from you in the last year than you even know about.
