Honestly, it would be really a little too much PDA with a hetero couple when you consider that the chocolate eggs grab the attention of children. Cadbury made an inappropriate ad and I think their drop in business will reflect the sentiments of most people.
It is the "in your face" gayness push that really is uncomfortable. Do what you want to do in the privacy of your own home (or a porno) but don't put it on display where young children will experience it. I would extend that advice to men & women sharing candy in an ad as there is a cringe factor involved there as well.
