No, kneeling during the National Anthem is still abhorrent. Furthermore, if your employer tells you, before you're even hired, "OK, here are the rules that you need to comply with, are you good with that?" You say OK, but then start breaking the rules, you're going to get punished. You can't just claim that you have a first amendment right to do it to avoid repercussions.
