Got any evidence for either of those assertions?

I only need one logical argument on my side, which is that most conservatives support the rule of law and order (as I'm certain you've heard from right-wing propagandists over the last four years). This attack was at best anarchistic, and at worst domestic terrorism. Both of these run in complete contravention of avowed conservative values, so we're left with two choices: A) Conservatives by and large have forsaken their dearly held values regarding law and order, as you would imply, or B) these few hundred people were anarchists/domestic terrorists (depending on your POV) and were in fact by logical analysis not representative of conservatives as a whole.

As for the second one, I'm not dumb or deaf; On almost every major media source I can read, watch, or listen to I'm seeing hordes of people who I presume are moderate-to-far left ranting and railing about how conservatives are traitors now. It's patently untrue, overly generalistic, and an asinine claim.

Then why does the GOP support ending the rule of law in favor of rule of trump? Because the GOP either hates the US or are a bunch of idiots who will hurt the US. Either way they are damaging to the country.

This isn't a substantive argument you're making...

The GOP attacked Liz Cheney for saying the election was stolen and they push tax cuts that only help the wealthy.

1. The GOP can run its internal power structure however it wants. While I dislike their removing Cheney, that's a far cry from doing anything substantive to actually hurt our democracy.

2. The top 1% pay 40% of all Federal income tax, so I fail to see how taking the pressure off them is hurting anyone...we're not exactly starved for cash as a nation.
