I only need one logical argument on my side, which is that most conservatives support the rule of law and order (as I'm certain you've heard from right-wing propagandists over the last four years). This attack was at best anarchistic, and at worst domestic terrorism. Both of these run in complete contravention of avowed conservative values, so we're left with two choices: A) Conservatives by and large have forsaken their dearly held values regarding law and order, as you would imply, or B) these few hundred people were anarchists/domestic terrorists (depending on your POV) and were in fact by logical analysis not representative of conservatives as a whole.
As for the second one, I'm not dumb or deaf; On almost every major media source I can read, watch, or listen to I'm seeing hordes of people who I presume are moderate-to-far left ranting and railing about how conservatives are traitors now. It's patently untrue, overly generalistic, and an asinine claim.
