hahaha I get it, you can't make chainmail armor, it's only obtained when it drops off of a mob, found in a chest, or given to you by somebody in Creative Mode

no you can find it if you have a zombie/skeleton farm (sometimes they spawn with it)

but still you cant make it, there was a crafting recipe but it was removed in 1.8

now that i think aout it,i have had netherite armor more then chainmeal,and i have never had netherite armor

also Netherite is much better and harder to get sooo

Leather and chainmail are the hardest to find or get cuz Iron is much more common than a cow droping leather

I used commands to get looting level 24546545641658 and i killed a cow with it, it gave me 5 stacks of beef, but only 3 lether.
