Right — if we can get back to a place where we can actually have substantive debates with the other side about something other than the latest insane crockpot theory about whether Dems are election-stealing cannibalistic pedophiles, or merely cannibalistic pedophiles.

And if many of them continue to deny, for instance, that Covid is a thing even as they are strapped to a hospital bed gasping their last breaths before being ventilated, forget getting consensus for an abstract long-term scientific problem like climate change.
