Everyone gets more back than they pay. You get a military that protects your nation's interests, you get a national bank that makes sure the money you earn is valuable, you get agencies that keep the nation’s infrastructure intact and safe for use...try paying for all that by yourself.

Yeah, that’s not accurate. The top ten percent pay 70 percent of the us’ total income tax revenue. And I would say, aw, that sucks for them, except it really doesn’t. They have more than enough left over to live incredibly comfortably, and those taxes still cost less than if they had to foot all the services the government provides on their own. So nah. Not bothered about them or anyone else paying taxes. You get more than you give.
