Ok. I'm obviously better at strumming than picking, although I am by no means perfect at it.

three finger style is where you have a thumb pick and 2 finger picks and you use a series of rolls to play a tune, where as clawhammer is harder to explain, you hit one string with the back of your first finger twice then pull up using your thumb in the top string. it varies between drop thumb and regional styles. so which ever lol
