Since you seem unable to define MAGA any further than the acronym, let me tell you what it means to most people:
Make America Great Again, to them, calls back the American pride in our greatest triumphs, such as our victory in the second World War or over the Great Depression. It's not about hate, it's not about toxic nationalism, it's about restoring a sense of pride and dignity that has been lost amongst endless wars, spiraling economic disaster, crushed under massive international debt, and choked out by what many see to be overbearing progressives trying to forcibly suppress their simple Christian roots.
This is very similar to truly hateful social trends, such as racism or sexism, because it also calls back to the 'old ways' that these disgusting ideas do, but the fact is that we can delineate good from bad. It's possible to say, "OK, FDR was a racist and somewhat a tyrannical warmonger, but he undeniably galvanized the country and carried us through WWII from a morale perspective. Let's go back to that 'We'll put the flag over Surabachi' spirit. MAGA"
True bigots associate themselves with these sort of movements because they hope to generate more support for their delusions, and in some cases they do, but to say that all supporters of such a movement as the 2015-present MAGA are hateful bigots proves nothing but utter and willful ignorance on the part of those making the claim.
