You're right.

Since the beginning, I, along with many other Republicans, didn't want a stimulus package. The best way to help Americans would've been a tax break. Allow them to get more out of their paychecks then under pre-COVID times.

After all, that's another issue Republicans have with these stimulus packages. It's basically the government giving back Americans money that they took from their paychecks through taxes.

Its our money we paid in. Let me know when it hits 10k then we can talk about who's money it is.
What I see it as right now, is a refund on our taxes for the spectacularly poor management by 80% of the government.
