Using someone's correct pronouns isn't and never should be an inconvenience. It's not that hard. Here's an example. Have you ever called a dog "he" or "good boy" and the owner said, "Actually, she's a girl?" You use she/her pronouns for that dog, right? It's not that hard. And yes, there ARE more pronouns than she/her and he/him and yes, there are more than two genders. Doing a quick google search shows that nonbinary identities have been around since Ancient Egyptian times. And for the most part, neopronouns are simple to use as well (neopronouns are pronouns that are not she/her, he/him, or they/them. Neopronouns include it/its pronouns and there are so many more). I personally think that a book with that many pages is an IMPROVEMENT from the simple "Boy or Girl" question. It shows that in recent years, we have become more inclusive. I have no intention on hating on anyone or the person who made the meme. I am simply here to educate. Have a nice day.
