My take on it is the doctors can make a lot of money buy writing it.as a covid case. So if someone really had the flu than they would mark it as covid to get more money.

They thing it is covid so they mark it as covid not flu. I dont believe doctors would pretend it is covid to get money

We’re still in week 51 of this flu season which will include at least two months in 2021. We’re at a record low but the virus isn’t “almost nonexistent”

It is also likely that they’re seeing far more Covid cases than influenza cases since the former is more contagious and fatal than the latter.

People who are sneezing and with fever are staying home.

People who are having trouble breathing are going to the hospital.

The cases are thus reported as a record low for one and record high for the other.
