You can call me cynical, but I have zero faith in both the House and the Senate agreeing on anything that puts the American Citizen first and foremost in their actions. And that cynicism is equally distributed between the Democrats and the Republicans.
In short, I do not think that collectively they would have the ability to pour piss out of a boot, even if the instructions were written on the heal. They all have mastered the fine arts of corruption, nepotism, raising money for their own elections, conducting endless hearings on obvious crimes where nobody is held accountable, and putting lobbyists in charge of writing the bills that they pass.
Just my 2 cents.
