The Jupiter and Saturn conjunction was the star of Bethlehem. They were so close together from eye level that you couldn’t tell the difference.

Awesome! I am currently looking at the Dumbell Nebula. Saving up for a $7,000 telescope!

Actually it was a lot clearer and you could see the rings of Saturn. Hard to get a clear photo with a phone camera over the eyepiece. But the moons of Jupiter are clear in the photo.

Dude- thanks for sharing the image. How big is the objective lens on your 'scope? I just upgraded from a Celestron C-5 to a used C-8 with 3 different Plossls.... I am stoked!

I saw the Jupiter Saturn conjunction a few days ago and it was COOL! I could see Saturn’s rings through a telescope!

So apparently some guy in my town works for NASA and he brought a telescope in my neighborhood. Then he wanted people in my neighborhood to look at the conjunction though his telescope and I did that. It that night and the skies were clear so that’s how I saw the conjunction
