This is true the whole war wasnt about taxes because the new govermmant started to tax soon after the war was finished. They whole was was about how the colonists felt that they shouldnt yave to listen to laws that werent made to benefit the colonies. So they wanted reprsintaion at Parliament or they wouldnt pay there taxes. And tye rest is history.
