I also read somewhere that if you start you advent calendar on Christmas, it ends on Inauguration Day...in case you find some need to repurpose an unused advent calendar.

I don't see how that would work . . . there are 7 days of December if you start counting on Dec. 25th. You'd only get to the 17th of January. Depends on the inaugural year, I guess.

Yeah you’re right. It would have to start on the 28th or 29th. The end result is still the same though.
