So sorry, I was referring to Wayne county Michigan, Detroit area. Canvassing board refused to certify due to discrepancies in vote counts. Then subjected to death threats and harassment.

So, the claim here is that there's an "imbalance" in the votes cast for Wayne county. An imbalance means that there are more votes counted than names checked off as having voted.

Which I'll admit, sounds super suspicious. We have more votes than people who voted?

So, let's did into that.

1) what's the total number of registered voters in Wayne county? According to the Sec of State for Michigan it's 1,410,433.

2) How many people voted in Wayne county? According to Wayne County it was 878,102.

Okay, right there we can discard the idea that more people voted than live there. Roughly, 1.4 million are registered and 800K of them voted.

So what does that imbalance mean? It means that there are more votes than can be matched to people who checked in to vote. As an example, 100 votes were counted by only 95 names were checked off.

Which, I'll admit, still sounds suspect. The next question would be- how can this happen?

The poll worker could have checked the wrong name. Or they forgot to check the name off. Or in the case of a mail-in ballot, the written name was so messy they couldn't make it out.

OR the most common one- provisional ballots. The voter was given a provisional ballot because they weren't able to register prior to the deadline, but still meet some other legal requirement and are able to vote.

In Texas, this happens a lot. Someone moves in to the area, but missed the registration deadline. They're allowed to vote, but someone from the state physically follows up to confirm that they live in the area and didn't vote in their previous location.

So, the next question is how many more votes were cast than names checked?

What do you feel that number is? Out of the 800K, how many? Write that number down.

Now cut it in half. Write that number down. Cut it half again. Write that number down. And I promise you it's still too big.

Total number of imbalanced votes? 475.

Total votes for Biden? 597,170. Total for Trump? 264,553.

There weren't more people voting than were registered. And the votes that couldn't be matched to names wouldn't change the result.
