Is that a stream?
No, but many do.

I didn’t know that lol

Actually, that was more of a problem in the old days for conservatives. Nowadays most conservatives just don’t speak up anymore. I don’t think they should be mocking, but they at least should be talking. I’ve seen people surprised that they are more accepted at Trump rallies by total strangers who know they’re Democrat than they are by their own friends when they become conservatives.

I like that you’re making discussion in this stream, but the only reason I joined this stream is so I could discuss stuff without running into politics. So seeing it pop up AGAIN is just heartbreaking.

Oh, sorry. Politics is allowed here but it’s not supposed to be disrespectful or like a war zone like the politics stream, or the vault of insults like the politicsTOO stream. But i feel you.

Yeah, thanks. Continue with your politics memes if you want, a moderator explained to me what was going on. And sorry if my comment was rude or anything, I accidentally confused you with someone else that I haven’t had fun times with on the site.

...we don't. Again, just because some leftists say crap like that doesn't mean the majority of the left believes that.

This is the complete norm in colleges.

not necessarily

Well, in prestigious colleges mainly, but it exists in others, too. Professors indoctrinate people now, and kids just accept all they say as facts. I’ve seen professors spew illogical crap and everyone nods and no students question it. And so many people in either creationist fields or conservative fields have either been afraid to tell others what they believe so they won’t be alone, or they’ve faced ridicule and mockery for not falling in line. This is a major problem in our youth right now. Even if it’s not ridiculous right now, which it is, it will get far worse in a matter of time unless these people get out of this when they grow older.

it depends what you're getting mocked for. if it's some incell saying something about women because they won't get laid, they deserve to get mocked. Same goes to people who believe homosexuality is a sin, are just name calling, etc. And while what the professor is saying might seem like illogical crap to you, that doesn't mean it's wrong. Or you might have interpreted it differently than their actual message.

The first thing isn’t even a conservative issue. I dont agree with people mocking women for not being in that kind of relationship.

People who believe homosexuality is a sin aren’t name calling. But calling those people homophobic sure is. I get called homophobic routinely when I don’t even hate gays. I know some gays that realize this is dumb but it’s not very common.

I’ve not been the only one who thought it was illogical. And adults have disagreed with this stuff too. And that wasn’t the point. The point was indoctrination.

most incels have typical conservative views, like being against abortion and believing homosexuality is a sin.

Also, being against homosexuality isn't a sin because you don't choose to be a homosexual, but that's not the point. You don't need to hate gay people to be homophobic, just like you don't need to hate minorities to be racist.

There's adults that have disagreed with everything, and there's children that have a better grasp on politics than some adults. Indoctrination would be the professors trying to make all their students believe what they believe without questioning or asking about their beliefs.

Well mocking people for not getting laid doesn’t sound Christian at all.

Then what do you need to do to be racist or homophobic? I have never showed discrimination or treated anyone differently for being leftist, black, or gay or trans. Several have treated me differently for not being leftist and not supporting LGBTQ+. And showing discrimination against blacks would be stupid for me, since I’m mostly black anyway.

That’s exactly what I’m saying they do now. Professors are now talking about stuff out of their fields now. And professionals. I’ve heard of professors pulling up stuff from Noam Chomsky, who is a linguist that’s always talking about government and politics. And those professors aren’t politicians or linguists. Why are they teaching us stuff that has nothing to do with the topic they’re supposed to be teaching? Why does communism or socialism have to come up in a math class? (I have known people who have had that happen).

Why would you want to support any kind of group, you mean?

Because they agree with their ideologies more than the right-wing ideologies

Yeah, but if you don’t agree with those ideologies, they ridicule you. Exactly what about this is different from their problems with their parents?

It is very difficult to find people tolerant of other ideologies on either side, except for centrism

Theres a lot of angst in the world right now, we'd all do well to remember that some traits aren't exclusive to one party or another. Cheers, and upvotes.

i know, but conservatives don’t go around demanding people in Hollywood get fired for being liberals. (They’d want nearly everyone fired if that were the case). And peer pressure does not usually come from conservatives, since it’s not exactly common to have young conservatives.

'It's not exactly common to have young conservatives'. You'd be surprised at how many I know. If you want to know, I am actually very good friends with some.

Oh I know plenty too, because I was raised in church. It’s just that in colleges, you tend to have more radical leftists.

Hm. Most people I know are centre. I know of no fascists or communists (unless you count the people who say they want to restart the USSR as a joke)
