Even in modern times the world turns a blind eye to the suffering of German women when they are raped and assaulted by refugees that Merkel allowed to swarm into the country. What was it Henriette Reker said, ah yes she victim blamed them all and said: "They should have kept arms length away".

All of this we are talking about should come to no surprise. People denies most of this or they downgrade it as being insignificant. People living in blissful ignorance over here in the US, cut off from the horrors of other countries, actually have the audacity to say the Islamic veil is not oppressive. They should tell that to the Muslim women who suffer under Sharia Law!

The problem with making issues like this a partisan issue is that the member of the party being accused will feel the need to defend their reputation lest they be accused of the same thing because of guilty by association. And they will likewise try to prove how the other side is worse. During that other issues will inevitably be brought in and the issue at hand will be pushed aside due to mud slinging. Fortunately for you I am not like that as much as I used to be. We are talking about politicians, they are pretty much all corrupt and uncaring in their own way. There are a few good ones that I know of but for the vast majority I dare say it is an argument over which turd is the shiniest. The partisan biasedness isn't much of an issue with me when discussing the morality of politicians, I dislike most of them regardless of petty party. I am sure there is misconduct involving many politicians. They are rich and in positions of power, of course they could try things in hopes to get away with it.

There was a scandal involving the K-pop group Big Bang in which a member was taking girls and selling them out as sex slaves. I think there was politicians, not from the US but other countries, that was involved in this too. So who knows what is really going on. It kinda makes one wonders about what happens to people who suddenly go missing without a trace.
