They pretend like they know each other.

Same with popular users.
People thought they knew who Ship-Shap was. But they didn’t. (Like seriously look up Ship-Shap on imgflip there’s a bunch of memes mourning over him and reflecting on who they thought he was).

Oh that. It's ok. All I'd say is stay real, know the difference between reality and fantasy.
