If you’re this eager to brag about your service, then you’re likely to have heard the first statement many times in your life.

Depending on how you act offline, you may not have heard the second statement as often

So I guess it’s my job to remind you that you’re a dick, and that being a part of the U.S. military means that you serve civilians like me, not the other way around.

You don’t get to lord your military service over us, and you have a duty as a patriotic citizen to be a skeptic and question the motives of our civilian leadership the same way we all do.

If you are acquainted with the facts of Ukrainegate and don’t find them (or the Administration’s and the Senate’s unprecedented obstruction of the investigation and impeachment proceedings) problematic in the slightest, then you are a rapid Trump partisan.

See, this is what happens when you only put up the portion of the quote that fits into your narrative. Just before that he said,
