I was willing to start a civil war in 2016, but none of my liberal or progressive or Democratic friends were.

Hillary Clinton concession speech | image tagged in hillary clinton concession speech | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Well, however bad the Trump years were, civil war would have been worse. It is the ultimate political breakdown of a society. Every attempt should be made to avoid one.

In a democracy, everyone will be disappointed some of the time but it is only 4 years until your next shot. That's what Hillary urged her supporters then and it's what Trump should be urging his supporters now.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

There was a civil war in 2016 but the liberal media won't report on it because George Soros told them not to.

Can you imagine trying to command that rabble? A civil war started by them can only have one ending: an absolute clusterf**k.

I believe that the problem of it all might just be the two-party system. I might sound biased, as I am a western European, but having only two parties eventually leads to polarization, and with that to radicalization. Because if you have only 2 adversaries, they will end up seeing each other as the main "enemy", and not a potential partner who simply has different views. And another reason might be that because you only have dems and reps, you do not represent other political views on the spectrum, which leads to misrepresentation, which, again, can lead to radicalization.

Then what would you call the whole thing about Russian collusion?

Oh right right

You do realize the irony, right?

Yes I do

The irony of Republicans denying smoking-gun evidence of attempted Russian collusion in ‘16 not to mention dozens of indictments and several convictions of close Trump associates, while huffing and puffing and promising revelations of voter fraud in ‘20 that always vanish when exposed in the bright light of a courtroom.

Isn’t it ironic?

So politics have become so hypocritical that both sides are guilty of the same hissy fit. Sad to see.
