I’m calling any watch list (of opponents) figurative lynching to damage a person’s reputation or career for legal behavior or conduct. It cuts both ways. Maybe she will realize this but I doubt it.

You are assuming illegal (or even immoral) activity took place. In America we have due process. Once convicted in a fair & impartial trial with specific charges, you may then make a list of that. Her motives are political in nature which is a slippery slope for all parties.

The lists she proposes violates the Constitution and she should be tried & listed for violating her oath to the Constitution through due process, of course.

Though not a perfect system, it’s the best concept to ensure individual rights and liberty. You can choose to remain free or you can choose what masters you want to serve just like I can. But neither of us should attempt to force the other into our chosen path. Socialism does just that by using governmental force on everyone. That’s one major reason why Socialism is doomed to failure.

Fact is Socialism/Communism won’t work either for the same reason Capitalism is criticized: People, singly and in groups, are corrupt.

Therefore, of all human systems of government, I prefer the US Constitution as it limits government power & maximizes liberty. It is designed to forge a balance of powers and use due process to allow peaceful resolutions as well as keep an even playing field by limiting corruption by people, groups, or corporations.
