Doc Brown Marty Mcfly | GREAT SCOTT, MARTY! HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT IN OCTOBER! | image tagged in doc brown marty mcfly | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Seriously, I was saying that for a long time. So many states are doing it, that it's going to be inevitable, Trump should have done it nationally and got credit for it. Could have gotten him a ton of votes.

Exactly my point!!! As far as CMF, that's typical behaviour of a Leftist "fifth columnist". You look at their page, and you think they get it; but when you try to converse with them, their "troll like" nature becomes evident. Folks like that are the reason our nation is in the shape its in today, thanks to the last anti-American "fifth columnists" that "THEY" forced on "we...the people"!!! F-'em!!!!

the marijuana federal stamp tax act keeps it under federal control. Rescind the Federal tax, It becomes legal under the States.

True. Like most things, the main reason it is Federally "illegal" is the IRS is afraid they won't "get their cut" if folks grow their own. It's like how "moonshine" has been, and still is
"illegal"; but you can go to any liquor store and take your pick from all the "legal moonshine" you want; but you can't buy any that a guy makes in a still with his own operation. It all boils down to $$$.

Im sure they could figure something out.
Because it’s billions of extra revenue they could tax

That's what "our" founding fathers believed. I'm inline with their thinking myself.

I just like the concept of “free”
Lol!

Colorado and a bunch of other states have figured it out.

I still have to abstain because a) I have a job that will do random piss tests and b) you won't pass a background check to buy a weapon legally if you answer truthfully to smoking pot.
2 ups, 4y
Yes, until Federal government ends marijuana prohibition and rescinds tax stamp laws from the ‘30’s.
You’re technically a criminal even when you buy “legally” from a State such as Colorado
Sucks!

President doesn't make the laws.
1 up, 4y,

True; but he can do "executive orders". I think that one is a long time coming, lol!!!
1 up, 4y,

But he cannot do that order because it would change the law.
1 up, 4y,

Sure he can. His predecessor used them exponentially to skirt law. Joe Biden's supporters are already urging him to go the "executive order" route to skirt "our" laws and Constitution. I honestly cannot imagine anyone being against him decriminalizing cannabis throughout "our" nation. Since Leftists are opposed to ANYTHING positive "our" president does, it would be interesting to see "THEM" get mad over that!!! LOL

He can order the law not to be enforced, but not change it.

Well, its probably just "wishful thinking" anyways; but I'd love to hear "THEIR" excuse for why it needed to be overturned, especially with what "we...the people" all know about Kamala!!!! LOL

Maybe Trump will get a chance to sign that bill.

It would be better to decriminalize it across the board by executive order. "We...the people" don't need anymore laws concerning our own choices as adults. If it were just flat out decriminalized throughout the US, it would stop folks getting in trouble with the law for using/possesing something that maybe already be "legal" in their state. So, instead of clogging "our" courts with frivolous charges to make money, states could tax it like they do alcohol and cigarettes. However, like most things, it all boils down to money.

No, it isn't better to give the president the authority to make laws.

That's why he should use an executive order to decriminalize it Federally. We don't need any more laws to keep "us" in line. In the end though, its just a meme, and a "dream", lol.

Ken, in case you haven't noticed, debating with CMF is like spitting in the ocean.
1 up, 4y
That's giving the president the authority to make laws. The path to hell is paved with good intensions.

What is there to argue? We don’t unconditionally hate Trump, you know.

It probably would be a dumb decision on his part because I’d think most of his supporters would be against that.

Sorry; but after the past 4 years, I don't believe that "THEY", and folks like them, don't actually hate "our" duly elected President. Those folks are vile destroyers that destroy anything positive. I think most of his supporters would see it as another stroke towards freedom. Sure, so religious types might be against it, due to the propaganda they have been fed all their lives; but I've noticed, in the past few years that, more and more, so called "alternative folks" are supporting "our" President, and the freedoms he represents. Some may be mad; but with everything that is going on in our world today, decriminalizing marijuana would be the least of "our" worries.

I'm probably more "left leaning" also, in a lot of what I believe. I mean, I'm a proud descendant of a Confederate soldier, and I refuse to be "ashamed" of that. Most folks consider that "right-wing" and dangerous. However, I think cannabis ought to be legal across the board. The issue I have are these SJW automatons that think EVERYONE has to be like "THEM", or be destroyed. I have no problem with ideas that are more "left wing", however, folks like CMF are contrarians that just want to cause whatever chaos they can, because someone, "THEY", told them to!!!!!!

You’re proud of being a descendant of a soldier on the losing side of the war against slavery?

LOL. I see you've bought into the propaganda "THEY" provided to you. However, yes I'm proud of my ancestors...all of them!!! I refuse to "feel bad" about them; despite what "THEY" tell me I'm supposed to feel.

The Confederacy fought for freedom from a tyrannical government that was no longer representative of those states that seceded.

Now, do you think what the Union Army, its generals and soldiers, did to the Southern ststes and their people, was a good or bad thing to do?
1 up, 4y
How am I being hypocritical? I just asked for more information about your question. Besides, you didn't answer my question.
1 up, 4y
1. What did the seceded states represent?

2. Be more specific. What did they do specifically that you’re talking about?

3. Let’s continue this in Memechat, this thread is about to run out. I’ll follow you, first, then you follow me.

SIGH...looks like SlipperyFart is just another COWARD that runs when confronted with their hypocrisy and BS!!! SMHID
