Rampant gerrymandering of House seats, malapportionment of seats in the U.S. Senate, the Electoral College, etc. If our system didn’t give so many affirmative action points to Republicans, they’d be firmly out of power.

I hope Biden governs like the 4-point, 6 million-vote popular vote winner that he is. And I expect he will, bypassing any Senate gimmicks McConnell tries to throw his way to the maximum extent, because it’s been clear for awhile McConnell isn’t tethered by principles or even precedents he himself set.
Statehood for Puerto Rico (an option which Puerto Ricans chose in a popular referendum this November, yet again) and D.C. would be a good start toward bringing the U.S. popular vote more in alignment with national representation.
