A time when people could actually trust their government a little. The science says masks are near useles the hospitals are full of people who wore their mask religiously.

No, masks and contract tracing work. Look how it did in South Korea, where people already know the drill. The Rona is surging in places and under circumstances where people aren't taking it seriously.

A small nation with a military land border and limited highly controlled ingress and egress is not a comparison to the United States or most other countries. Same with New Zealand. Essentially small islands with oceans separating them for everyone else.

We're not being reinfected by border crossers: we're being reinfected by people who haven't been tested and aren't wearing masks or social distancing WITHIN our borders. (Though I'll grant you, South Korea's much smaller, more concentrated population makes mass testing easier . . . and their already understanding about masks makes basic health precautions not such a fight.)

You deny the routine border crossing that happens daily in California and Texas among others from Mexico. There are thousands that work in Tijuana and cross daily to work in San Diego or other border cities. Mexico is seeing a surge as well and over 100k deaths. That’s to say nothing of people flying in by the plane loads daily. Asymptomatic spread elimination and prevention would require all that to stop.

I don't deny the border crossings . . . I DO deny that they're what are driving the covid surge all over the country. Correlation is not causation 🎵*sing it*

I never said they were the cause. There a several factors and that is one and a not insignificant one. That’s the problem you want to make it a simple single easy blame game. It’s Trumps fault, no it’s mask deniers fault. In reality it’s the fault of a worldwide pandemic released by our enemies the Chinese, and there are various things that contribute to it.
