Oh no Slope Intercept formula is very useful. For example, you’re taking a trip in Europe, but everyone uses Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. If you use the formula y=1.8x+32, with x being the Celsius temp, you can figure out what the temperature in Fahrenheit is.

Perhaps you want to know whether or not to wear that coat, or how long you should stay outside. And those are just examples of an example, others of which could be you want to calculate how much money your Lemonade Stand will make, or how many packs of something you should buy at the Grocery Store.
