Oh no Slope Intercept formula is very useful. For example, you’re taking a trip in Europe, but everyone uses Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. If you use the formula y=1.8x+32, with x being the Celsius temp, you can figure out what the temperature in Fahrenheit is.
Oh right, but that requires you take out your phone, do everything to turn it on, and you might not even be close to wi-fi, but just quickly doing that equation will help you with that and other things.
Perhaps you want to know whether or not to wear that coat, or how long you should stay outside. And those are just examples of an example, others of which could be you want to calculate how much money your Lemonade Stand will make, or how many packs of something you should buy at the Grocery Store.
Man I ain't tryna do all that, if I'm buying something at the store I don't really care how much of it I get, if it makes it into the cart, It's coming home with me. If I throw 20 packs of kool-aid into my cart, it's coming home with me, your baby crawled into my cart? It's comin home wit ME NOW!
just wait til x gets squared >:)
you'll have to memorize: ax^2+bx+c, a(x-h)^2+k (<- personal fav), a(x-p)(x-q), (-b±sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a, etc. also bookmark: https://www.mathway.com/Algebra , https://www.desmos.com/calculator they will make your life easier
