The far left tolerates only those who agree with it...look at the morons calling for Gina Carano's head on Twitter. When faced with a strong, independent woman unafraid to speak her thoughts despite knowing they won't be popular they completely lose their marbles.

Now, the same is true for the far right. They absolutely refuse to accept that there is a legitimate balance of power and quite a bit of that goes to a central government so as to keep state and local governments in line. They're not exactly tolerant of opposition either.

I believe that the right wants to strip power from the presidency, congress, and senate and give them back to the states....Where the left wants to add more power to these bodies....This is the central issue. These bodies should have very few powers.

That's the essence of it. The difficulty is deciding where exactly the balance should be.

The essence right now is that the Federal government has too much power that was never meant to be and must be stripped away.....or they will be just another Putin, or Xi, or ayatollah-like tyranny...

I will say that observers being shut out of rooms, being asked to stand far beyond where they could see what was happening in the counting room, or dems covering the glass of the counting room is cause for concern...would you not?
