(Attached you’ll find Jane Doe’s corroborating witness’s statement)
You’ll get as many legal investigations of Trump as you like once he leaves office.
As for Biden & Hillary, there’s been a lot of talk but no action over 4 years of a Republican-controlled DOJ. Nor was there any action against Hillary during the 8 years of a Republican-controlled DOJ under W. Bush, because that’s literally how long these conspiracies about her have been swirling.
House Republicans deposed Hillary for about 11 hours in front of Congress. And in the end they got a politically-useful soundbite but no evidence of criminality or abuse.
Trump hasn’t gone under oath in connection with any of his activities as President — he didn’t testify in his impeachment proceedings, unlike Bill Clinton. Why? Basic reason being he simply didn’t want to and it turns out there’s real no way to compel a President to testify unless he agrees to. (Expect Trump’s sad and self-serving stance to be cited as “precedent” going forward in any future impeachment trials, rendering the entire exercise pointless.)
Nor did Trump allow his top officials to cooperate with impeachment; in fact, he ordered them not to, and they obeyed.
A problem our Founders didn’t envision! We’ve had a lot of those over the past 4 years.
As far as being inside “a real court,” you may not know that OLC guidance prohibits the prosecution of a sitting President, and when it comes to all the civil suits swirling around Trump, he’s been able to successfully argue (for now) that his duties as President preclude him from doing anything but sending lawyers in his place.
But if and when a post-Jan. 20 Trump does go under oath to answer for anything he’s done, what will happen?
How many times will he perjure himself in the first 5 minutes of cross-examination?
