Right? I got my BS 9 years after retiring with not only with no debt but they literally paid me to go. Post 9/11 GI Bill at 80% tuition & books, plus 80% housing allowance, plus my employer paid 100% tuition & books. Can't beat that.
Of course, Obama tried to jack it up costing me thousands of dollars by taking away the housing allowance over the breaks between semesters. I was fortunate enough that I didn't have to rely on that money to pay the bills, but obviously some folks were.
