I'm not debating. I am trying to educate. The left is on a collision course with destruction and I don't want to see my country go down in flames because there are so many people who do not understand economics, history, logic, morality and think with their hearts and not their brains. I am not saying thinking with your heart is bad but you need to have both and not one over the other.
This is a great nation with a great history. Sure bad things happened here. Some very bad things like slavery and Indian genocide. But given the history of every other nation that has ever existed, even with the bad, we are still light years better than every other nation that has ever existed.
The reason is not because the people are better. That would be impossible because all came from all of those other countries. It is because we founded this nation on individual liberty. The freedom to live your life as you saw fit without the government telling you what you can and cannot do.
Even before the early 20th century Progressive era we began losing the freedoms that we once had because evil people have to control other people and they seek political office so they can control other people.
Then the Progressive era happened and introduced Marxism and all of the variations of Marxism into American politics. The Marxists have been pushing slavery to the state (aka statism) ever since.
We are at the point where all of the Progressives from a century ago looked forward to. The point where Marxism takes over this country.
I am vehemently opposed to Marxism in all it's forms. Marxism makes slaves of all of us to the government and puts our lives at the mercy of the state. I don't care how good Marxism looks on paper, tyranny is all it has ever and all it will ever produce.
My freedom is far more important than your social program will ever be. Equal people are never free and free people are never equal.
