That's a nice study of Canada's health care you got there.

Except American healthcare is literally ranked dead last out of 11 developed nations, including Canada.

A left wing advocacy group find published a study that affirms what they advocate? What-a-shock. As they included very few actual countries are included and the out datedness of the link, a newer and comprehensive study (or better several) should be used.

But that still wouldn't mean that data is a plural of anecdote or that anecdotes are evidence.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA imagine citing a link arguing AGAINST your point.

First of all, the commonwealth study was measuring healthcare in developed nations, not all nations, and it isn't outdated. I would argue that as the years go by, the US healthcare system becomes worse. Second of all, the study you cited put the US 37th in terms of efficiency, so I find it funny that your own source debunks what you're trying to claim. Canada is 7 places higher. I thought the US was the most wealthy and prosperous nation in the world? The fact that we have such a piss poor ranking should be extremely concerning, don't you think?

LOL, you assumed what my point was and got it wrong. Also the commonwealthfund study is relatively old and mainly uses smaller counties that would not have problem from large population and does not include all developed nations and measures stuff that comes from social issues rather than from healthcare as a whole.

Our healthcare system huge room for improvement, but we also face several factors that make it harder on the USA than many other countries. https://www.commonwealthfund.org/publications/issue-briefs/2020/jan/us-health-care-global-perspective-2019

I appreciate that you are citing sources that agree with my claims.

I agree that our healthcare system has huge room for improvement. That improvement is some form of single payer healthcare.

We need to combat obesity and chronic disease which are higher than other nations, neither of which is fixed by socializing the health care system. One simple thing that would help is allow insurance companies top compete between states, so they have a huge incentive to improve or be competed out of business.

The way to fix obesity is through stricter regulations on the food industry, and to fix poverty. These are cited in the commonwealth publication that you cited and should make sense. Funnily enough, the solutions to fixing obesity are vehemently opposed by conservatives, who want fewer regulations and who don't give a damn about the poor.

And just to add, the high rates of obesity still don't explain the US having the highest mortality amenable to healthcare (plus a whole host of other things), which is how the deaths that could be prevented with timely and efficient healthcare independent of other factors.

LOL, making up a motive for me to believe instead of using facts doesn't remove the flaw in your reasoning. http://charltonteaching.blogspot.com/2019/07/bulverism-and-mainstream-dominant-left.html

No she doesn't you f**king dick. The same thing has happened to my cousin who by the way is a normal person who lived in Canada. He works in a building company, and no political ties you dumb ass. You're the reason America is the laughing stock around the world. He had a brain tumor which they had to get rid off. The only expenses he had were a monthly fee of $500 you puss boy that's not how Socialism works, it's not some evil thing. Oh and news flash Capitalism isn't the greatest thing to exist.

Dude when I was 8 I had a leg disease, a rare one which let me tell you now my family would have gotten into so much debt if we were in America. But no we were in Canada. I had free health care not even a monthly fee since I was a kid. I was in there for 1 month and I had some of the best treatment in the world, I came out fine and my family in perfect condition. I have a personal experience.

It sounds like you've been very lucky. Not everyone is.

As a father, I say take your socialized "care" and shove it up your ass.

And you can take your debt giving ass trap care and shove it your fat ass.

Now everybody is in debt. I understand that its different when its "you". But it truly makes it harder on everyone else. Socialism is a curse. As a matter of fact, your healthcare isnt true socialism. People are forced to pay into privately owned medical facilities and medical supply distributors.
It's like owning a store that everyone is forced to shop at.
I also find it odd that medical insurance is the only amenity that gets subsidized. Like it's the only eminent need. Ask a mother of 4 if her electricity is a want or a "need".
In the end, it'snot right forcing others to pay for someone else, no matter how you view it. I'm hearing $2m worth of brain surgery, yet at no cost. Except it's not "0" cost. Others had to pay it
