personally i think anarcho-capitalism is a valid form of anarchism.

Really, anarchism means against hierarchies, and dismantling unjust hierarchies, namely capitalism and the state. The classical schools of anarchist thought consist of communists, collectivists, mutualists, individualists and syndicalists. None support the institution of capitalism.

Anarcho-capitalism not only can't last, it simply can't exist. The state and capitalism aren't in opposition to each other, they are reciprocators. Private property was imposed onto peasants, and the state imposed capitalism onto the masses. It is a creation of the state, and requires a state to maintain and uphold it.

Most anarchists will tell you ancaps aren't anarchists.

I think most anarchists see capitalism and the state as systems that dictate everyday life and oppress most of us. Not all, though.
