Well, I don't think that's a good reflection on anybody. There's one thing you need to know about politics: neither side is righteous - the truth lies in the middle somewhere, in one of those grey areas that encompass 99.99% of what goes in in reality. To think one side is completely correct and the other is completely incorrect is the height of ignorance.

PS - the person you were conversing with there certainly does speak stupid. Apparently, that person is omniscient. Fascism exists in every aspect of society. It's just a matter of to what degree. Personally, I am convinced that the "anti-fascist" groups out there are exhibiting, by far, the most fascist ideologies/actions. It is just pathetic to watch these dumb people use violence and intimidation to stop speech they do not like, and then have the nerve to call themselves anti-fascists. It's actually rather comical.

I'd say it's because it's easier to avoid people we don't like on imgflip than in real life. There are plenty of people on here that I don't get along with, and we both know it. So long as we don't really interact, nothing bad comes of it and you don't really look mean.
Real life though, you sometimes HAVE to be around people you don't get along with out of necessity.

Mainly because of the polls. Short of 2016, the polls have been very accurate. I'm also semi-subconsciously bracing for impact. If I temper my expectations, maybe it won't hurt so bad if he loses. If I temper my expectations, maybe I'll feel the same excitement I did back in 2016. I'm playing mind games with myself.

We love that he stands up for law and order, all while the Democrats defend rioters and looters. It's kinda sad how the Biden/Harris ticket celebrate rapists, like Jacob Blake from Kenosha. It's also kinda sad that you just don't get it, and probably never will.
